Hey there, my dear friends! I just wanted to express my gratitude for taking the time to appreciate my work. Back in 2010, I embarked on an incredible adventure to Austin, Texas, where I had the pleasure of attending a music festival and exploring the city. As I strolled through the streets, something extraordinary happened - I stumbled upon a man selling his handmade jewelry on the sidewalk. It was truly mesmerizing! This man, despite his worn-out appearance, sat contentedly on his lawn chair, basking in the sun while tourists passed by, admiring his merchandise. Witnessing the joy and freedom he exuded, I knew I wanted to experience the same. Surprisingly, as I turned around, I discovered he had an entire collection of jewelry spanning the entire block! It was a revelation for me, a moment of clarity where I realized my true desires. Upon returning to my hometown of Colorado Springs, I immediately rushed to the nearest craft store and invested my savings in beads and materials, unaware of the focus and attention required for this new endeavor. To be honest, if I were to recount the entire story, it would fill a book! So, let's fast forward a bit. Creating jewelry has not only become a beloved hobby but also a lifeline for me. When I embarked on this journey, I was battling alcoholism, and crafting jewelry played a significant role in my recovery. So here’s to sobriety, the truest freedom, the most magnificent joy, one could hope to experience😊
